Help Support ICCS – Ways to Give

Through the generosity of a single benefactor, the Mezzalingua family – the new campus of ICCS has been built.  The new school has 28,000 square feet of classroom space and a 6,000 square foot administration building.  We have a state of the art computer lab and two amazing science labs.  These new facilities will allow ICCS to continue to grow long into the future.

Currently tuition costs only cover approximately 60% of the cost to educate a child here at ICCS. The goal of ICCS is to stand on it’s own financially, but at this point we are looking to our alumni and friends to contribute to their alma-mater.  We have needs that extend in the areas of our daily operational costs, future construction projects, and areas to grow in terms of technology and many other ways to enhance the educational experience for children here at ICCS.

Over the years, ICCS has been blessed with other generous donors as well who have provided funds to the school to help it grow and prosper.  Many alumni were fortunate to receive financial assistance while they were students at St. Theresa’s, St. Joseph’s and now ICCS.  Now many of these same graduates are in a financial position to help return the favor to allow current and future students to receive the Catholic School education that ICCS can offer.  They can then look with pride and see new generations of ICCS students making a positive difference in the world.

To that end, there are several ways you can help:

The Annual Fund

What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund at ICCS provides financial support to the many areas of ongoing expenditures in all aspects of the school.  Tuition provides for approximately 60% of the cost to educate students beginning from Kindergarten through grade 11.  The Annual Fund was created to help offset this deficit.  Contributing to this fund allows you to support the traditions of ICCS.  These traditions offer students rich experiences that lead our alumni to positions of leadership in our global community.

Does my Gift Make a Difference?
Every gift to the Annual Fund – no matter what size – helps make a difference.  Who can give? Anyone: alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents, friends of ICCS and anyone else willing to lend a helping hand!

Gifts In-Kind

Separate from Annual Giving, a Gift in Kind is defined as a non-cash item, such as equipment or a product that is voluntarily transferred from the donor to our school.  Donors also may direct where they wish to have their gift used.  Gifts In-Kind are often sought for charitable events like our ICCS Auction or other fundraising events.

Planned Giving

Planned giving can exist in many different forms of legal documents: wills, living trusts, life insurance and annuity policies, retirement plans, charitable gift annuities, real estate and other options are available to us all.  It is however, the will with specific language or bequest that is the most popular and most simple form of planned giving.  People make gifts like this for many reasons: appreciation for what the school has done for them or their children.  Some have been motivated because of a motivated coach or dedicated teacher who help direct them at a formative point in their life.  ICCS is grateful to anyone who chooses to include the school in their estate planning.

Donations of Time and Services

Not everyone is able to give in financial ways.  We at ICCS are always appreciative of assistance in other ways.  You can volunteer to help at annual events, join committees, assist in our Alumni Association, or contact us with your ideas.
